In the year 2019-2020, I had the pleasure of doing the Orientation Year at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy.
Via sketches and photography I explore the world, taking up different viewpoints and perspectives.

For the HackaLOD 2018 challenge, we created ‘Jamie LOD-iver’, a tool to search historical recipes – winning the 1st prize.

For the Abel Prize, a prestigious Norwegian prize, I worked on the design, creation and evaluation of a touch table application.
I had the privilege to redevelop the websites of the Dutch Repair Café foundation at the moment of a major growth period.
For large Dutch research programmes on climate change, I created an interactive and animated geo-visualization using Google Maps.
During the EuropeanaTech conference, I joined a hackathon, and did the designs for a visual query suggestion tool – winning the 2nd prize.
For the Dutch clothing retail chain Sissy-Boy, I created an animation marketing their new ‘O’Pardon’ jeans brand.
For the first Celluloid Remix contest, I remixed archival footage of the Eye Film institute – eventually winning the 3rd prize.
