XIMPEL

XIMPEL (www.ximpel.net) is an open platform for interactive media: the eXtensible Interactive Media Player for Education and Learning. The initial idea was based on my Master’s project, and we developed it further in a small team. XIMPEL has been applied in various areas, including education and communication. It has been presented on several occasions, for example at the DIVERSE 2008 conference (paper), the GAME-ON 2008 conference (paper) and the NIMK Think Ahead! 2009 competition.
